Walldorf, July 25, 2006 - The Walldorf-based technology partner REALTECH was awarded the status of SAP Special Expertise Partner (SEP) for Duet. This title is an award for outstanding competence and experience in this field.
With Duet - which was introduced last year under the name Mendocino - SAP and Microsoft had announced the launch of their jointly developed product only a few weeks ago. Users will now be able to access SAP functionalities directly from their Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel or Word. REALTECH offers various consulting services for Duet including, for instance, deployment analysis, process optimization and implementation.
The Special Expertise Partnership for Duet not only reflects the successful cooperation between SAP, Microsoft and REALTECH, but also the extensive experience in the SAP and Microsoft field. This title is synonymous with a SAP provider recommendation for customers and prospects and documents a partner's expertise in the Duet field. SAP awards this status to selected partners only.
During the selection procedure, potential partners have to meet SAP's high standards. Customer satisfaction, exceptional expertise and many years of project experience in the SAP field are basic requirements for the Special Expertise Partnership. Excellent customer contacts and access to decision-makers are also required for certification. REALTECH meets all of these criteria because of its long-term project experience in the SAP consulting market and its thematic and geographic proximity to SAP. For many years, both companies have cooperated closely in customer projects and in the development labs of the Walldorf-based software company and want to further strengthen their cooperation in the future. This partnership aims at winning new customers together, combining strengths and enhancing joint competencies.
Last year, REALTECH was awarded Special Expertise Partner status for SAP NetWeaver, SAP Enterprise Portal and SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
