The Business Process Management of theGuard! Service Management Center is based on a new correlation technology that avoids floods of events that have been all too common in the past. In addition to system, network, and service data, information from external sources such as ERP, CRM, SRM, or other applications can also be included in the process. Once users have established the organizational and technical framework, they will be able to include SAP transaction data in their business process management. The third-party data is converted using a standardized XML interface. Then the data is immediately assigned a status enabling a transparent assessment of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Thanks to these universal interfaces, companies can deploy theGuard! Service Management Center in all divisions and departments. The software can take into account and analyze all relevant parameters of a business process thus providing a comprehensive and seamless Business Process Management system. Adherence to predefined service level agreements (SLAs) can be verified for individual business processes as well as for the objects that affect them.
