Walldorf, January 12, 2011 – REALTECH AG today announced that it has appointed Thomas Mayerbacher as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2011. Mayerbacher succeeds Nicola Glowinski, who, in addition to his position as Chief Executive Officer, has been serving as the interim CFO since the beginning of 2007.
Thomas Mayerbacher was born in 1969 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He earned a degree in engineering management from the University of Kaiserslautern before joining Deloitte & Touche. Since May 2000, he has held leading positions in international controlling and finance at REALTECH. In 2009, Thomas Mayerbacher was named Managing Director of the newly created REALTECH Services GmbH and REALTECH Verwaltungs GmbH.
