Walldorf, February 23, 2011 – REALTECH AG, a provider of software solutions for enterprise-wide IT management and SAP consultancy, will debut its mobile app for theGuard!, a software solution for enterprise-wide IT service management and secure business processes, at CeBIT 2011 in Hannover.
The mobile app "theGuard! ImpactMonitor" is the first in a series of applications to be released as part of REALTECH's theGuard! suite of products. The software, which is initially available for iPad and Phone, delivers detailed real-time updates on the status of mission-critical IT infrastructures straight to the mobile devices of IT administrators, providing them with information on the status of their IT systems whenever they need it. Different zoom and filter options facilitate the search for the root cause of problems and help determine the impact of interruptions on a company's business processes. Users can choose to receive their alerts either in push or in pull mode. Furthermore, they can flexibly configure the display of these alerts based on user-specified criteria.
theGuard! ImpactMonitor requires the installation of theGuard! Business Service Manager, theGuard! Business Process Manager, and an additional web services module. These system requirements do not apply to the free trial version which runs on iPhones or iPads with iOS 3.1.3 or later.
