SAP Self-Service Portals

Your staff is spending an ever increasing amount of its time on administrative routine tasks. Self-service portals are designed to reduce the administrative workload of predefined user groups. Here, the main focus should be on tasks related to human resources and planning.

Deploying self-service portals reduces media discontinuities caused by paper-based processes to a minimum. It also significantly speeds up administrative processes, which is mainly reflected in employee satisfaction. There are two types of self-service systems that can be distinguished based on user roles and areas of responsibility: employee self-services and manager self-services.

Employee Self-Services (SAP ESS) and Manager Self-Services (SAP MSS)

Employee Self-Services allow human resource departments to optimize administrative processes. Employees can maintain and manage their personal data and access the information they need on the intranet and/or Internet.

Manager Self-Services directly integrates a company's managers into human resource processes, allowing them to create reports, handle vacation requests, make salary adjustments, or initiate and manage recruiting processes online.

For the design and implementation of the SAP ESS and SAP MSS solutions, REALTECH has developed a proprietary approach – the REALTECH BCI Four Phase Model. This approach ensures that a company's strategic objectives are taken into account for any decision made throughout the entire project.
