Service Level Analysis<br />

Service level analysis for applications

Defining and living up to service level agreements is vital to any IT operation.

theGuard! ApplicationManager satisfies these requirements within the scope of theGuard! ReportingConsole through the mapping and testing of defined rules.

Service level analysis is possible for theGuard! ServiceCenter and theGuard! NetworkManager as well.

Mapping of agreements and object rules

The following attributes are configurable:

  • company, department
  • contract
  • duration
  • two service (operating) times
  • maintenance times (ad hoc, periodically)
  • object rules on managed objects for availability and performance
  • various warning thresholds

Agreement review and reporting

SLA reports compare attributes and rules provided in a contract with what was actually carried out. Such a report includes a general overview of all rules and different views of compliance and violations in various degrees of detail. This allows for the display of any individual event that violates the agreement.

Your advantages at a glance

  • simple configuration and mapping of service agreements
  • mapping of object rules on the application object level
  • automated status review with respect to agreements
  • optional mix for reporting on network and service operation for end customers
  • timely intervention in the face of impending SLA violations in order to avoid contractual penalties
