The Auto-Discovery function fills your SmartCMDB fully automatically and identifies and documents your IT assets. The integrated monitoring system continuously records status information and changes to IT assets. All objects, their properties and status are therefore always up-to-date and centrally available in the CMDB.
The SmartCMDB normalizes or standardizes all infrastructure data that is scanned and captured by Auto-Discovery. Thus, data and information of a heterogeneous IT infrastructure data can be compared and evaluated immediately.
The Mapping functionality ensures the unambiguous assignment of data and status information. This makes it possible to connect any source quickly and flexibly.
The SmartCMDB has a large number of different Import Connectors. This allows you to use established source systems to quickly and easily build up a database.
The captured data can be combined and correlated as desired to support your business processes in the best possible way.
In addition to the established Import Connectors, REALTECH also creates new connectors, expands existing ones, or customizes existing connectors as needed.
With Cloud Asset Discovery, data from the various components of your cloud provider (Azure, Google, AWS, etc.) can be easily read out. The data is stored as CIs in the SmartCMDB according to a defined mapping structure.
